What Listeners are Saying…
“To say that Tony Parsons is a household name and that his is one of the most recognizable faces in BC are almost understatements. Having served over 35 years as anchor of the News Hour…Parsons is a virtual member of millions of BC families. Many British Columbians really don't believe a thing until they have heard Tony say it.”
Harbour Publishing
“When I think of broadcast journalists and television news anchors, two names immediately come to mind: Walter Cronkite and Tony Parsons. When Tony left Global BC in 2009, he came to anchor CHEK Television's Late News. I remember what a coup it was to have Tony as our Late News Anchor..."
Howard Harding
CHEK NEWS
“Thirty four years, 7 premiers, 8 prime ministers and it all comes down to this; The most watched and trusted face in the province is leaving the big chair at Global BC.”
Deborah Hope
Global BC News
“Tony had two things; one, he had an excellent voice and announcing capability, but he also had a calmness — a demeanour that commanded attention”
Cameron Bell
